Will my Services Plus clean team arrive at the same time every clean?

Our scheduling provides an approximate time your team will arrive but we cannot guarantee this as they may experience delays due to traffic or have been held up at a previous Client. We will usually phone you if we are running late or need to come in early.

What do I do with my pets while the cleaners are here?

All of our teams are “pet friendly” however, it is better if you can put pets in a cage or outside while we are there. Some friendly pets like to run away with cloths or dusters and even get under our feet.

Do I tip each time and if so, how much?

It is up to you, if tip your clean team or not; however you would normally tip people for a service and your clean team is no different. Even a small tip each time, shows that you do appreciate the good job that they do for you. Some customers give a year end gift to the their clean team that is equal to the regular visit charge. If you are paying by debit/credit card, we can add the tip to this payment.

Can you change my day/time if I have to be out of town?

We are very flexible and always willing to work with you if you need to change you visit to another day. Please give us as much notice as possible, as we do have a very busy schedule and can make changes easier the sooner we know. We need at least 48 hours prior to you scheduled visit to make a change if you need to change your schedule.

Why do you charge 50% of the clean if I do not inform you in time?

We have spent a long time building up a good team of people to clean your home, and a full daily schedule of homes to clean. Your clean team relies on you, for their income. If you suddenly cancel or are not at home when they arrive, that is lost revenue to them and to Services Plus, because we have to pay the team until they can resume their regular schedule. The 50% charge goes to cover their time and gas. One way of overcoming this is for us to keep a key.

Do I provide my own products for cleaning?

The Services Plus cleaning teams are fully equipped with vacuums, brooms, mops, dustmops, cleaning and dusting cloths, and anything else we need to do the job. However, we do ask that you supply the cleaning chemicals that you like for us to use. You only need to show your team where you keep the cleaners, trash liners and where to leave the trash when we are finished. We do keep cleaners in the vans, incase you run low while we are cleaning, and we will leave you a list of items that need to be replaced when we leave.

What products do you recommend?

We will use the products that you are accustomed to using, especially not knowing each homeowners allergies. However, the teams do have products that they like to use if you are inclined to make some changes. The products that we usually recommend are Windex(the original formula), Furniture polish( Guardsmen, Pledge, or Endust), Kitchen cleaners(Lysol or 409), Floor cleaners(Pin-sol, Mr. Clean, Armstrong Once-n-done, Murphy's Oil soap), Bathroom cleaners(Tilex soap scum remover, Tilex mildew remover,  and a toilet bowl cleaner).

Will the Services Plus team do laundry while they are cleaning my home?

No, but we do have a laundry service available to our customers, however it is a drop-off and pick-up service at our office. We also offer Hand Ironing for Clothes, Table clothes, and Linens. We can also make arrangements for one of our employees to pick-up and drop-off your items if you can't get them to us.
 

Are you bonded and insured?

Services Plus is fully bonded, Liability and Worker's Compensation insured and licensed to work in your area.

Do I get the same girls each time?

We like to assign the same team to you, that performs the First-time clean, when we start your service. Depending on how you want to set-up your regular maintenance cleanings, (weekly, every other week, or monthly) we usually send the same team for every visit around the same time, so you will know who is coming and approximately when they will be there.

How do I pay for my cleaning?

You can pay for your cleaning either by check, cash or credit/debit card (MasterCard/Visa). If leaving cash or a check you pay the Team Leader on the day of service(or leave it on the kitchen counter if not home). We do ask that you put the payment in an envelope with Services Plus on the front with any notes that you may want to leave the team. If you wish to pay by credit/debit card, you will need to give the office a call prior to your clean.

Do I need to be home when you come to clean?

No. Many Clients work and have given us a key which is kept safely in the key cabinet and issued only on the day of the clean. If you would like to be home for the first clean and meet your team, that would be nice, but it is not necessary.

Do I have to sign a Contract with Services Plus?

No, we do not ask you to sign a contract for our service. We do ask you to have respect for your cleaning team; they are professionally trained and will often go the “extra mile” when treated with courtesy. However we do ask you not to approach anyone on the cleaning team to work for you privately.
